What happens when Western concepts of liberty reach African shores?

You know, when Africans listen to Tupac, Eminem & see Dennis Rodman... they think that these people are beyond any social restrictions. Singing "F*** the police" or about raping animals & getting tattoos & piercings all over your body is certain to get you arrested or an exorcism in most parts of Africa. But it happens that to impressionable, young people on the African continent - the concept of unchecked freedom resonates with them. There are countless musicians in Africa who emulate this American-centric style of "doing as you please" & giving the illusion of having a lot of money. This concept of freedom, however, did not not spring out of a vacuum in America. It has it's roots in Europe.

Now, there was a time when America's father (Europe) did not have concepts of individual liberties & ideas of the people or nation being a force. So when people like the (original) Illuminati & Napoleon spread such enlightenment ideas, the monarchies of Europe sent literal armies to fight them. The Illuminati was outlawed in Germany & European powers declared war on Napoleon, not France, Napoleon himself for spreading revolutionary ideas. As it would later appear, the concepts of individual rights & liberties as well as the people being a critical force in determining a nation's direction & future won in the end. Monarchies who still insisted that they had divine rule & what they say could go unchallenged by the people were removed in revolutions as downtrodden people started realising their independence in all matters. Only monarchies that had well-governed lands & a satisfied populace remained in Europe. This is the background which America is founded upon, individual liberties & the power of common people -  not divine rule by a royal family as with the Old World continents of Europe, Asia & Africa. Despite such liberty ideas originating in western Europe, many in western Europe likely still held the idea that a king or emperor still holds divine rule. And, I think, certain liberties & individual rights may resonate with Africa & such revolutions may happen in Africa as well.

In Africa, many of our concepts of power are archaic & are opposed to individual liberties. As the African youth gets exposed to certain ideas & concepts of liberty from worldwide media, they may realise that they themselves are a force & it is not an aging tyrant in power who could take them into the future. What comes in the place of the removal of these aging tyrants in an uneducated population is usually more tyrants who were long waiting in the shadows of the former tyrant. If the power vacuum of an outdated power system cannot be filled with a modern & accomodating form of rule, we'll revert back to default settings & the ghost of monarchy will continue haunting Africa until it is brought back to life into a new power structure. Whether Africa will continue with Western democracy or adopt constitutional monarchy is still yet to be seen but what makes Western democracy succeed is that they are often educated nation-states (i. e. developed nations comprosing of one majority ethnicity) & Africa often does not have that kind of state. Education alone could never triumph over tribalism & ethnonationalism in the best of countries, so it's fanciful to believe education could usurp tribalist & nationalist sentiments. Often education increases tribalist & nationalist sentiments.

Many African countries may see the dangers of "liberty ideas" in media & try to block Western media but even they know that they cannot stop the West or it's media in infiltrating Africa.

Comprehensive classification of Ngoni / Nguni groups.

List of Ngoni / Nguni nations : • Bhaca • Hlubi • Mpondo • Ndebele (northern Ndebele in Mthwakazi & southern Ndebele in Gauteng, South Africa) • Ngoni / Jere / Jele (mainly in Malawi, northern Mozambique, southern Tanzania, Zambia) • Nhlangwini    • Shangaan  • Swazi  • Tembu • Xhosa • Zizi • Zulu Altogether, twelve (12) "Nguni" groups are known to exist. From my knowledge in any case.  Bhaca, Hlubi, Nhlangwini, Swazi & Zizi are the Mbo Entity . The Mbo Entity often declassifies itself from the Nguni group. Nhlangwini & Swazi are under a Dlamini dynasty while the Hlubi & Zizi are also Dlamini tribes. Ngoni & Shangaan are of Ndwandwe origin (a tribe assimilated by the Zulu Empire). Bhaca, Hlubi, Ndebele, Nhlangwini, Shangaan, Zizi & some Mpondo are often classified as Zulu. While it's unknown whether Mpondo & Xhosa qualify as Nguni, they are often grouped as Nguni. Using family groups to classify :  • Mbo • Mpo...

The M. M. Opinion Journal

Ponderings of the Man from Mpofana is getting cluttered & has several already outdated works, so I'll be blogging on The M. M. Opinion Journal  blog in future.

Concept of a Ngoni Federation.

For all who might still be lost as to who is what, here is a Comprehensive classification of Ngoni / Nguni groups .  While a Nguni superstate might not work, a Nguni/Ngoni Federation might. This would involve doing some administration & building some currently non-existing boards & infrastructure. The plan being to build a functioning & successful ethno-federation under one motive to develop Nguni/Ngon i identity & livelihoods of citizens in Nguni/Ngoni territories. Bearing in mind that we do not all live in the same countries so the laws of the respective countries we live under would need to be obeyed.  The Plan :  • Schools that share a similar syllabus . These schools would have to teach their respective Nguni/Ngoni languages as a mandatory language. For schools in Ngoni territories who no longer speak a Nguni/Ngoni language, the Zulu language could be the default language. • Sports academies associated with the respect...
